Hitting Camps

The Youngstown State softball program is offering four individual winter hitting camps during the 2021-2022 school year. All camps are open to any and all entrants on a first come first serve basis.

December 18th
Grades: 8th - 12th
Time: 6:15pm - 7:30pm
Cost: $50 per session per player
January 16th
Grades: 8th - 12th
Time: 6:15pm - 7:30pm
Cost: $50 per session per player
January 23rd
Grades: 8th - 12th
Time: 6:15pm - 7:30pm
Cost: $50 per session per player
January 30th
Grades: 8th - 12th
Time: 6:15pm - 7:30pm
Cost: $50 per session per player

Location: The Watson and Tressel Training Site, 651 Elm St., Youngstown, Ohio

Camp price includes a $4 non-refundable processing fee

Individual Camp Features

  • Fundamentals of hitting: T’s, front toss, and pitching machine work

YSU softball camps are open to any and all participants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender, as required by NCAA rules.

In accordance with this law, the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and other stakeholders jointly developed guidelines and other relevant materials to inform and educate students and youth athletes participating in or desiring to participate in an athletic activity, their parents, and their coaches about the nature and warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest.
